Garden etching and painting commissions
     
Ros Ford (MA) has undertaken painting and printing commissions and residencies of public and private gardens for the past ten years. She has print awards from the University of the West of England, the Royal Society of Painter Engravers and the Royal West of England Academy (RWA).
     
     
 

What is a commissioned etching?

An etching is a traditional way of hand printing using a copper plate. It is an ideal medium for depicting gardens, it utilises both detail, texture and atmosphere.
